The essential, user-friendly, guide to issues and controversies for students
Complete Issues has a simple goal. To provide you with relevant articles, statistics and organisations for your research in a quick and easy way.
Complete Issues lets you...
... find reliable, up-to-date information
... support the whole curriculum
... deal with sudden requests for resources on issues
... ensure students search successfully - their results will be relevant and appropriate
... respond to news items and discussions with informed opinion and reliable figures
It is attractive, flexible, easy to use and readily available, in school, college, library, at home and on mobile devices.
Complete Issues is updated throughout the year with extra resources, the latest statistics and checked websites.
How is it used?
Type a search term into Complete Issues and you will instantly see an array of articles, statistics and websites related to your search. Each one has a thumbnail picture and a short summary to help you choose your starting point.
When you click on an item in your search list you see the full page, together with more suggestions. You can print a PDF if you wish.
You can return to your search, refine it to show only articles or only statistics or different combinations.
For an even quicker access to key topics, our Focus Guides give you a selection of the most relevant items - great for those times when you need information at a moment's notice or just to make a start on research.

These sample pages show how a student who searched for information on drugs would see a list of articles looking at different aspects.
From the list, the student might choose to find out about treatment, via the statistics on "getting help" or about the war on drugs "Accept the facts". In both cases further pages to explore appear beside the main information.
Alternatively, a student might decide that really the information required is not about drugs in general but specifically about cannabis. In that case there is a quick starting point via the focus guide which appeared at the top of the original search list.
Complete Issues is available all the time and from any computer. There are no restrictions on its use or copying within the purchasing institution. This means that it can be used by students and staff, in school, college, library and at home.
